Balcony

A lone figure watches from the balcony as a ship streaks across the sky, leaving behind more than just a trail of light. Inside, a familiar face waves—one last goodbye, or a silent promise to return? The city moves on, unaware, but for a moment, the past and present blur into something bittersweet.

The concept arose from the desire to immortalize the nostalgic feeling of meeting or leaving someone/something on the balcony, looking out over the city as if it were a jewel chest.

I made the buildings in Blender and then rasterized them in ClipStudio, adding details so that it would be consistent with the manga aesthetic.
